I am so excited, having just released by third novel ‘The Harlem Gate Keeper,’ under the series – ‘The Adventures of Zogi’. I have been writing since an early age, but I never took my writing seriously and never did it cross my mind that my writing would develop into the point where I could get published. I write during my spare time while juggling between my legal career, being a mum and raising three beautiful daughters.
I have written three fantasy adventure novels under the series – ‘The Adventures of Zogi’. My debut novel – ‘Beyond the Hago Gate,’ was self-published in 2016. The second in the series – ‘The Harlem Beast,’ was published in 2019. My latest release in the series is The Harlem Gate Keeper.
I consider writing as a ‘me time,’ and ‘an escape,’ away from everything else, where I can be in my own little world. One thing is for certain, I have always liked to write or ‘scribble’ as I call it.
During my journey to publication, I sent my manuscript to the Authors and Writers Association and paid for it to be reviewed. With the feedback I received, I improved on my manuscript. Yes, I did send my manuscript to a few agents and traditional publishers…
