Bio

Hey,

Welcome to my website. I am delighted to share that I have recently released my fourth novel, Harsha, as part of the series and brand The Adventures of Zogi.

Writing allows me to create worlds, tell stories, and share ideas in a way that nothing else can. I’m excited to continue this journey and to take readers along with me through my
stories.

I can’t pinpoint the exact moment I fell in love with writing – it began quietly, in secondary school in Nigeria. Back then, I never imagined that my scribbles could one day become a published novel. Writing was simply something I loved to do, a private escape into my own world, a space I like to call “me time.”

The idea for my first novel, Beyond the Hago Gate, came to me in 2003, and by 2004 I had a rough draft. Life, however, had its own plans. Balancing a career as a commercial solicitor with raising three young children meant my novel had to wait, written in stolen moments –  during piano, violin, and swimming lessons, in the car waiting to pick up the kids from parties or activities, wherever a few quiet minutes presented themselves. Without formal training in creative writing, I taught myself along the way, learning through research, trial,
and error.

As my children grew, so did the time I could devote to my writing. Gradually, Beyond the Hago Gate took shape, evolving from a dream into a manuscript. Along the way, I sought professional feedback from Writers & Artists, refined my work, and even explored literary agents before choosing the path of self-publishing.

Writing has always been more than a hobby—it’s a passion, a sanctuary, and now, a published reality. I’m currently working on the sequel to Beyond the Hago Gate and look forward to sharing it with readers soon. You can order my novels on Amazon and join me on this continuing journey.

My Publication Journey

As part of my publishing journey, I submitted my manuscript to the Authors & Artists Association and paid to have my first novel professionally reviewed. The feedback I received proved invaluable and helped me strengthen and refine my manuscript. I also submitted my work to several literary agents and traditional publishers as I explored different publishing opportunities. I am currently carrying out research for the next instalment in the series and hope to begin writing my fifth novel before the end of the year.

Profession Career

I practise as a commercial solicitor, although writing has always been my true passion. I write whenever inspiration strikes – at home, on the train, or wherever I may be. I hold concurrent legal qualifications in both England, where I practise as a Solicitor, and Nigeria, where I am qualified as a Barrister.

Writing and Vision

Writing is something I deeply enjoy, and I hope to continue doing so long after I retire from the legal profession. My vision is to see my books published by a major traditional publisher and, ultimately, adapted into films or television series for the big screen in Hollywood.
